1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AltheonIQ (the "Service"), operated by Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC ("AIS," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Nature of the Service

AltheonIQ is an AI-powered wellness companion that facilitates self-reflection and personal growth through guided conversations, journaling, breathwork exercises, mood tracking, and AI-generated insights. The Service uses artificial intelligence (specifically Anthropic's Claude) to engage users in exploratory dialogue.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All responses from Lumen (our AI guide) are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI responses are not professional advice and should not be relied upon as such
• Analyses, root cause identifications, and recommendations are AI interpretations for self-reflection purposes only
• The psychological frameworks referenced (IFS, CBT, Somatic, etc.) are used in a simplified, educational context and do not constitute clinical application of these methodologies
• You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on interactions with the Service
• AI may produce responses that are not appropriate for your specific situation

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Seek professional help for serious mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, or suicidal ideation
• Not use the Service as a replacement for therapy, medication, or professional medical treatment
• Not use the Service if you are currently in a mental health crisis
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI system
• Not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose

5. Subscriptions and Payments

AltheonIQ offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your profile or the Stripe customer portal
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us at support@arringtonis.com
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Free tier limitations (session count, features) may change at our discretion

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all code, design, branding, logos (AltheonIQ and Lumen marks), AI system prompts, and proprietary algorithms, are the intellectual property of Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of the content you create (journal entries, session inputs). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our AI systems solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARRINGTON INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Any emotional, psychological, or physical harm arising from use of the Service
• Reliance on AI-generated content, analyses, or recommendations
• Failure to seek professional help when needed
• Decisions made based on interactions with Lumen or any feature of the Service
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, errors, or downtime

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@arringtonis.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
